“WROsound x urban jungle x warm-up” is an additional concert under this title, which will take place near the square in front of Impart – Port Węglowy Beach Bar, run by Aquapark Wrocław.
The newly open space is teeming with life not only on weekends and consistently expands its offer of events and attractions for residents by organizing yoga, outdoor cinema or silent disco. The first concert on the stage of Port Węglowy will be a proposal from the organizers of the WROsound festival, which has been supporting local artists since its inception.
On July 1, we will see the performance of the Wrocław-Warsaw band Last Day of Summer, founded in 2019 by musicians united by a fascination with the indie-rock scene. It consists of: Łukasz Dygudaj, Piotr Grzegorowski, Kuba Lipiński, Maciej Szemraj and Piotrek Wit. They have the EP Stories of Friends from 2022 and the popular singles Kino Wolność and Girl in the Color of the Sun from 2023. Their work has already been appreciated by radio stations (including Radio 357 and Eska Rock), organizers of festivals (Męskie Granie) and showcases (wrOFFław). They are currently preparing to release their debut album.
WROsound, which for years was a festival inviting only local artists, now has a much broader music programme. This year, on July 14 and 15, the main stage will feature Tricky feat. Marta, Brodka, asthma, Serca, Katy B, Kidnap, BOKKA and Brodachè. On the stage “Tak Brzmi Wrocław”, which refers to the first editions of the festival, the following will play: Zima Stulecia, Baby Meelo, Guest Julka, We Draw A, EKHTO and Rycerzyki.
