Music without borders – line-up in full phase!

On July 17–18, 2026, we will once again feel the true sound of Wrocław. WROsound, under the artistic direction of Kuba Więcek, returns with an even stronger, intercontinental energy. The carefully curated program highlights the project’s originality rather than just following mainstream trends. This is where rap, experimental jazz, electronics, and alternative music meet. The main headliners include the Academy Award-nominated trio Son Lux (USA) and the mesmerizing singer and guitarist Alice Phoebe Lou (RSA). With each edition, the festival also becomes more accessible and inclusive, as proven by its “Bez Barier” (Without Barriers) award.

A new direction for WROsound’26

This year’s edition continues the new festival formula introduced last year, focusing on showcasing the most exciting and intriguing sounds in modern music. Once again, Kuba Więcek surprises the audience by putting the spotlight on debuts and a heavy dose of improvisation. Nearly half of the invited artists come from abroad – spanning from the USA, through Europe, all the way to Africa.

However, WROsound is more than just concerts. It’s a space for dialogue and exchanging ideas, which is why NGOs, partners, and a brand-new panel stage will become an essential part of the festival grounds. This will be the hub for discussions about culture and the concepts that drive the festival community.

Musical contrasts in Wrocław

The festival program is a blend of different sensibilities and fresh sounds that perfectly capture what’s happening in the global music scene right now. Two stages will host artists who aren’t afraid to think outside the box and redefine their genres.

  • Son Lux – a true musical laboratory. The Academy Award-nominated trio (for the soundtrack to “Everything Everywhere All at Once”) will take us on an immersive journey.
  • Alice Phoebe Lou – the epitome of freedom and summer carefreeness. Suspended between folk and jazz, her music sounds like a gentle breeze on a warm evening.
  • Moses Yoofee Trio – one of the hottest acts in European jazz. The Berlin-based trio, named Best Live Act at the German Jazz Prize 2024, will bring the raw energy of their album “MYT”.
  • YĪN YĪN – the Dutch quartet invites you to a cosmic, summer trance. Their latest album “Yatta!” is an addictive blend of retro sounds that, under the open sky, will work perfectly as a soundtrack to an exotic movie..
  • Kacperczyk – brothers Maciek and Paweł, the true voice of their generation, who revolutionized the Polish alternative scene. At WROsound’26, we’ll feel the energy of their album “WSZYSCY JESTEŚMY KACPERCZYK” (“We Are All Kacperczyk”).
  • Daria ze Śląska – she has a gift for wrapping big emotions in simple, honest words. Her intimate lyrics combined with modern production will make you pause in the rush of life.
  • Dawid Tyszkowski – following the success of his previous records, he returns with the EP “Chciałbym umrzeć z miłości” (“I Would Like to Die of Love”), bringing a dose of brand-new sensitivity to the stage.
