– Osa, do you feel like a rapper?

– No, not at all. I think I’d rather be considered a bum than a rapper. Rapper sounds disgusting. In the hip-hop culture, you know, graffiti is cool, but the rest doesn’t interest me, all the flirting, the tension. I wouldn’t like to be associated with rap at all.

Zdechły Osa – artist from Wrocław who can be called neither a rapper, nor a rocker, but in good conscience can be described as one of the most interesting voices of the Polish underground at the end of the second decade of the 21st century. Like no one else, he is able to capture the drugged-out, depressive spirit of the current times in the form of a short, dirty, yet catchy song. At concerts his fans swarm in front of the stage like at hardcore gigs.
