After 20 years on the Polish music scene and 10 albums released as part of various projects, Sokół presents its first solo album. Wojtek Sokół features 13 completely new and diverse songs. The album reached the status of a golden record even before it was officially available on the market, thanks to the great trust of the fans in the artist. Sokół’s lyrical ingenuity and unpredictable narration of combined with the diverse style of producers whom the artist invited to work with him is something that was worth waiting for such a long time. The premiere album also features top guests, constituting a cross-section of contemporary pop, alternative and, above all, hip-hop music. The selection of guest appearances that Sokół decided to work with on his latest album is a clear proof that he can easily combine different worlds and styles. The list of guests who are featured on the Wojtek Sokół LP includes: Taco Hemingway, PRO8L3M, Hewra, Igo from Bass Astral, Lena Osińska from Sonar, as well as Mateusz Krautwurst, finalist of Voice of Poland. The album also features the voice of Andrzej Zaucha, who was murdered in 1991. The diverse atmosphere of the songs was ensured by Bartosz Kruczyński, one of the most interesting figures of the alternative electronic music scene known from the Ptaki producer duo, as well as Pejzaż and Earth Trax, Duit — a half of the PRO8L3M duo or Steez83, and renowned producers associated with rap scene, such as WOWO, Broke Boys, Magiera or DJ B, known from working with Molesta.
