Warsaw duo RYSY consists of producers Wojtek Urbański and Łukasz Stachurko. Their music is a resultant of progressive dance rhythms built on the basis of extremely melancholic, yet catchy melodies.

The premiere of the debut single Ego (with a guest appearance by Justyna Święs) took place on 4 May 2015, and already on 4 September – on the independent label U Know Me Records – the debut longplay Traveler was released.

Since the beginning of their activity, the band has focused heavily on concert activity. The duo played at the biggest Polish festivals (such as Open’er Festival, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Audioriver or Off Festival); and the concert line-up was often expanded with vocalists who appeared on the album Traveler (Justyna Święs, Baasch and Piotr Zioła).

RYSY quickly gained recognition in the world of Polish alternative music. In 2016, the duo was awarded the Discovery of the Year statuette by the Muno magazine, Band of the Year by the Aktivist magazine (Nocne Marki plebiscite) and a nomination for the Fryderyk award in the Debut of the Year category. Despite this success, the band suspended activities on 30 January 2017. It was reactivated on 31 December 2020 with the release of the single 4GET  – the title track from an album released in June 2021. With the new material, the artists go a step further in terms of the spaciousness, depth and emotional message contained in their music. The album 4GET is full of massive bass and pumping drums immersed in the duo’s characteristic melancholy. The newly formed Dyspensa Records is responsible for releasing the album.

Justyna Święs and Michał Anioł, very talented vocalists will join the duo on the stage.
