Paweł ‘Paide’ Dunajko is a publisher and an independent promoter of footwork culture in Poland and around the world. He has also co-authored compilations of dub techno (Murmurs, Kanu 2015) and experimental music (Doubts and Doubts II, Pawlacz Perski 2016, 2018.

In 2010, inspired by Planet Mu’s first footwork releases, he launched a series of podcasts on radio-alternator promoting music from Chicago, initiating a wave of interest in juke/footwork in Poland. He was one of the co-founders of Polish Juke, an initiative to spread knowledge about footwork and a label supporting Polish producers inspired by footwork culture.

In addition to his promotional activities, Paide has performed with prominent footwork artists, including DJ Rashad, DJ Spinn, DJ Earl and Traxman. In 2016 he visited, one of the most important hubs for footwork culture, second only to Chicago – Japan – where he performed (at events in Tokyo and Osaka) with the most important representatives of that scene – DJ Fulltono, CRZKNY, Satanicpornocultshop, Boogie Mann, and Keito. A couple months later, in October that year, he was featured in the line-up of UNSOUND festival in Krakow.

Since 2016, he has owned the outlines cassette label, focusing on a more experimental and exploratory take on footwork and 160BPM tempo music.
